John T. Billington Places First at OU Student Research and Performance Day
John T. Billington placed first in the Social Sciences A category at the 2014 University of Oklahoma Student Research and Performance Day. His poster, “The Peer Effect and Terrorist Networks: A Criminological Approach," represents his research which seeks to apply criminological theory to terrorist networks using data from the American Terrorism Study. John hopes to continue his research by examining changes in terrorist network structure over time.John is a second year Ph.D. student from Plainview, Texas, and his current research interests are criminology and terrorism.
